There was a sharp nail that I grabbed and hit my hand.

At first, only the footboard and slats were sent, so they put in another order for the whole bed to be sent. The second order did arrive quickly (about a week after the first delivery), but when the delivery team tried to assemble it, it didn't line up properly. In the end, they managed to make it work, and as far as I can tell it is really nice (definitely taupe, not brown), but I don't have a lot of confidence in it after all of the issues. The delivery team and customer service were great, though.

The bed is perfect.

Absolutely beautiful!!

Nice looking bed but two things to be aware of resulting in a four star rating from me: 1) The delivery men had a very challenging time trying to assemble the bed and ultimately had to drill new holes. Once they left and we put our king mattress on it and one side between the side board and foot board gapped. 2) We get a lot of sun in our master and the color of the light brown has a sage green tint. Not ideal for us but for those with less light, perhaps it will show as true brown.
