• When cleaning your piece we recommend dusting it with a soft cloth. You can also gently wipe with a soft damp cloth with soap and water. Do not use any harsh chemicals, as this can lead to stripping the finish or potential peeling. We recommend using coasters on this finish to prevent watermarks and scratching. The silver leaf finish is made with real silver leaf power, so it takes on the same characteristics as a real silver leaf. When exposed to water, the silver leaf will develop a greenish patina. To clean the patina, it is best to use a silver leaf cleaner and follow the instruction on the bottle.
