The desk is, indeed, solid acacia--even the drawers. The top is very thick, the finish is lovely, and the file drawer can handle either letter-sized or legal-sized file folders. One thing to note: the top is not perfectly rectangular; its long sides are somewhat irregular, reflecting the trees from which they were cut. Also, there are a few irregularities on the edges (I believe they are indented indicators of knots) which lend a slight "live edge" vibe. The buyer needs to be OK with this situation going into the purchase. Personally, I couldn't be more pleased with this desk. It is about as far as possible from the plywood- or particle-board based offerings that are difficult to avoid in the marketplace.

This desk features modern, stylish design and has robust finishing. Made of beautiful wood. The assembly was also easy.

Very nice looking and easy to put together. But you can’t file anything in the drawer. The bars don’t stay in place.

Really enjoy the grain of the wood. Best desk I’ve ever owned.
