Nice solid wood but the rails for the hanging files are totally out of line and too shallow. I had to drill new holes to make this work. It's a nice looking piece and matches the same style desk and bookshelf set so I'm keeping it with my repair work intact.

Two cabinets came on time. Unfortunately, one cabinet came in damaged and no response from Wayfair. Multiple attempts to get a reply, multiple photos sent of the damage....no reply.

Seems sturdy enough, however it is poorly constructed. The top handle holes are drilled unevenly, so the handle is crooked. The file drawer had some sort of obstruction in the metal groove, so the drawer wouldn't close properly. We had to flip the cabinet upside down and shake it to remove whatever was stuck in it. There is some sort of locking mechanism that keeps the drawer from being removed, so we couldn't see what the obstruction was. The most irritating flaw, however is that the included screws meant to hold the handles on, are too short so as soon as you touch a handle, it falls off.

The filing cabinet is beautiful and made with solid wood, but its not functional. The slits for the folder supports are not deep enough and the tabs with the labels dont fit. Basically, if youre using this to store something other than file folders, youre fine. If you want to organize files, go with another option.
