Definitely buy these chairs. I have eight of them for a large, extendable dining table that is still on back order (Bernhardt Patina table- sand). These are easily and by far the most comfortable and sturdy feeling dining chairs I have ever sat in. Sitting in them feels noticeably luxurious, the shape of the chairs allows a wide, shallow dish type support where the arms of the chairs don't feel even slightly restrictive. The back of the chair makes you feel like you might recline a bit, but are still fully supported for comfortable eating. The seats are the perfect firmness. If you are hesitating, don't. They are beautiful, functional, comfortable and very well made and substantial.
