I ordered Beach color with no lumbar but with aluminum material. This chair already has lumbar like back so unless you have a severe back problem, you don't really need a lumbar. Functionality wise, they also have an option of tilting the seat but also not needed as the lumbar back won't move along with the tilted seat. Also, I would rather stand when I adjust my desk as a standing desk. I had an issue with the shipment as initially I received plastic version which was not aluminum. While waiting for the replacement, there was also another confusion as Haworth reached out to me directly to ship them the chair back while Wayfair asked me to send it back to them. However, when I contacted Wayfair agent a few times, they were able to assist quickly and was not a big deal for me at the end as I love this chair so much!!!! Highly recommend especially if you work from home like me!!!
