Recliners can be a difficult purchase because they are often not stylish. I chose this one based on its appearance, which I am happy with. However, it is clearly not well constructed, and I do not expect it to last long. Mine also came with a manufacturing flaw, which was some poorly attached piping around the leg, leaving a gap with an exposed glue blob. Perigold was fortunately willing to extend a discount as a make-good to keep the chair. Generally, speaking, my experience with other Four Hands furniture that I have purchased through Perigold is that it is attractively styled and nice to look at, but not well-made or comfortable. This chair fits that category and I expect I will be purchasing a replacement within a few years, if not sooner. This is based 100% on the quality, not the appearance.
