Solid wood ? No. It’s a thin layer of wood layered and screwed to MDF ( see pics ) I could live with that, but the piece came damaged , and there are floor guards glued on unevenly, which makes the piece stand askew. Piece also was very dirty /dusty, beyond manufacturing debris. Save your money
