Well worth $215 each on sale. Super stable and sturdy. Even the seat is solid cast iron. Every part solidly welded. The only surprise was that they were brighter silver in color than I expected; but still 5 stars. I thought they would have a heat-tempered finish. I fixed this by cold blueing it with Birchwood Casey Super Blue Liquid Gun, (typically used for blueing metal gun parts) giving them a glowing charcoal gray finish. I had a 32oz bottle from Amazon but it only used about 4 oz each (3 applications; 30 seconds each) - very easy to get professional results. It comes in smaller sizes. Perfect!!! Awesome Love these stools. The only down side is the squeak they make that my kids can’t seem to help themselves from incessantly causing while on them. WD40 was a messy and short lived fix... any better ideas??

Great Stool. I'm using this in my garage and really like the weight the industrial look of this item.
