Nice quality, sturdy, and well packaged for delivery. This piece was bought to serve as a TV stand with storage, in a bedroom containing a number of pieces from a different very high furniture company whose "antiqued pewter" finish has been discontinued (hard to believe because it was a best seller, apparently). This doesn't exactly match, but it coordinates well. The one star downgrade is because I believe the piece would have been better had the designers eliminated the fussy-looking columns adorning the corner. I know there are other pieces to this design, and a whole room full of them would be a little overwhelming, style-wise. I would describe the finish as a highly reflective, very pale champagne-silver (not quite dark enough to be described as pewter), with brushed nickel hardware. It is very lightly distressed, giving it a very nicely antiqued feel. The back is unfinished and obviously wasn't meant to be seen. The chest came fully assembled except for easy screw-on solid wood feet, that had nailed-in plastic floor protectors (which we easily pried off to put on sturdy screw-in floor protectors). The top drawer is lined with a very nice black velour, the middle drawer is just grey-stained wood, and the bottom drawer is lined with smooth cedar (a nice perk, if you ask me). The top drawer has an outlet with 2 standard electrical plugs and 2 USB plugs. This outlet is fixed to the back inside of that drawer, and opening/closing the drawer requires that the electrical cord slide back and forth through a hole lined with a plastic sleeve. Although both the cord and the sleeve are slick and smooth, there seems to be just enough friction to cause a slight resistance felt when moving the drawer. The electrical cord itself is a heavily coated (black), hugely long (about 9'!), bulky cord, with a 3-pronged plug heavy duty plug (standard US plug with grounding prong). Between the stiffness of the cord and the fact that it must slide in and out means that you must leave a bit of space behind it to accommodate all that, which is not a problem for me since we placed ours at an angle in a corner. The outlet inside the top drawer of our chest is stamped "for charging only", and below that, impressed in the plastic housing, it says, "15 AMPS MAX 120 VAC 60HZ", but I recommend other buyers be sure to check theirs in case the manufacturer changes the specs. All in all, we are very happy with the purchase and recommend it enthusiastically.

We purchased two. Great storage and love the charging station but the drawers are quirky. On mine, the second and third drawers don’t close completely without me lifting up the middle drawer slightly to be able to push in the bottom one. My husband’s is better but take some finagling to close too. Love the style and color and they are super heavy. Not sure why the drawers don’t function 100. This is why I rated a four star instead of a five.

Gorgeous and can't wait for the dresser/mirror to come back in stock! The in-drawer charging stations are a nice plus too!
