Jonathan sculpts and throws the models for our Muse pottery and then substitutes our signature geometric relief patterns with body parts - faces, breasts, lips - to create a surreal style. This porcelain sugar bowl is part of the Kawki collection, an imaginative, charming coffee set created for Lladró by the Polish designer Aleksandra Zeromska. Inspired by Slavic folklore and Aleksandra's love for birds, the name of the collection comes from a Polish word that can mean a small coffee or a kind of bird. The design for Fleurs Sauvages draws on the sensations of blooming flowers, the humming of insects, delicate leaves, and cool grass to give the overall impression of a walk in a summer’s paradise. Inspired by the glorious harmony of the different plants in a flower meadow, Swiss textile designer Regula Stüdli came up with an arrangement of wildflowers and intricate twigs, scattered haphazardly and in striking contrast to the green leaves and white blossoms.
