The "Parisienne" cocktail shaker is reinterpreted by Giulio Iacchetti defining a new and surprising standard of being easy to handle. As evocative of tradition as it is innovative in design, the sinuous line of this shaker is an incarnation of its being practical and easy to handle in a design that is as refined as it is understated.
A design self-portrait created by Alessandro Mendini, the Alessandro M. corkscrew returns dressed in a new chromatic range invented by its author. Dedicated to the collectors of Alessandro Mendinis work and of his quick-change' corkscrews, and for those wishing to uncork a fine wine with a tool combining function and emotion.
Giulio Iacchetti composes around a ring the four measures usually used in preparing cocktails, thinking back in his design to the very gesture of dosing. In his design, the author gives rise to new gestures: a tool that fuses organically with the fluid movements of the mixologist.
Design is super chic and fun, but the numbering inside is difficult to read.. Julie. CT. 2024-11-20 15:53:11
The Virgula Divina Bottle Opener recalls the enigmatic rod, the dowser's divination tool in his search for hidden treasures, in both name and form. A perfect drawing transformed into a practical bottle opener.
Inspired by the mollusks with the same name, Bulla is the bottle opener in stainless steel designed by Valerio Sommella. It is a practical and compact object that can be easily carried around. Sleek and sophisticated, Bulla turns into an elegant pendant to wear or to gift someone with.
Quite unusual and fun!. Linda. DECATUR, GA. 2022-09-19 09:50:57
Anna G. Colour Tales is a spin on the Anna G. designer bottle opener, attributed to Alessandro Mendini's chromatic research. Anna G.’s smiling face has become something of a cult figure over the years, a real, bonafide, “design portrait”. With the collection, her unmistakable smile returns with a small series of new color versions. This luxury bottle opener brings happiness to every Aperitivo and dinner party.
Giulio Iacchetti offers a collection of wine accessories including the wine bottle stopper. The name chosen for this series of items is an amusing reference to Noah (Noè in Italian), the first man to plant grapevines and make wine. The bottle stopper, suitable for both wine and champagne bottles, is produced in polished steel and has a rubber inner section to close the cap with a pressure and expansion mechanism. Easy to use, insert by pressing and turning clockwise to fit the neck of the bottle. To remove it, simply turn in the opposite direction and pull it out. This stopper adapts to the neck of most wine bottles found on the market today. The size of the stopper was determined through a study that considered the numerous bottle types most commonly used by wineries. The shape of the object is reminiscent of a classic cork, which hermetically seals champagne bottles and their content.
It looks very cool, but the rubber stopper inside is not so good.. Kelly. New York, NY. 2020-06-22 10:14:59
In the Diabolix Bottle Opener, as designed by Cisotti, the mundane form of this common item has undergone an overhaul. Fitting perfectly in the hand, this ''little devil'' of an opener, made of stainless steel and polyamide, will surely add some personality to your bar accessories.
An ironic tribute to a real woman, Anna G.s smiling face has become something of a cult figure over the years, a real, bonafide, design portrait. With the Colour Tales collection her unmistakable smile returns with a small series of new colour versions, a tribute to the chromatic research of the designer, Alessandro Mendini.
The corkscrew according to Ettore Sottsass is a tool both effective and emotional. Easy to use: The designed volumes reveal an ergonomic shape that is comfortable to hold. Made in Italy, near where Alessi is based, using a partly hand-crafted turning process with wood from sustainably managed forest. Colored with water-based and solvent-free paints that are sustainable for the environment and not harmful to human health.
Shot hip flask: A liquid form, a redesign of an ancient object, rethought for those who travel, and love adventure and outdoor life, with this flask, they can indulge in a small restorative, discreet, and corroborating pause.
The elegant bottle opener designed by Andrea Branzi is an ideal tool to easily open bottles with metal caps and crown caps. Ercolino is exemplary of Andrea Branzi’s happy relationship with the expressive potential of turned wood, which, in his opinion, is one of the best materials for creating objects with which it is possible to establish not only functional but also psychological, symbolic, and poetic relationships.
