I have been waiting for years to buy this set and this was a steal. The shape of this set is so unique and because of the simple color it goes great with any of my other white bowls and accent pieces. Hoping to add other pieces over time which brings me to the only downside of this set, the price of matching pieces. This is a great starter but if you want additional pieces, they are pricey. To me, worth the splurge. Quality seems great, these don't seem like they will chip easily - very different from the V&B old rose set my Mom had. That one chipped by looking at it. Packaging of the set was amazing - nothing damaged and really well packed. The color is not a true white but I love it as it is a warm tone and goes great with my Rae Dunn pieces. Even my husband thinks it's cool and the cups work for him - even with big hands.

Wow! Love it! Great Find! Very Unique in form - artistic - fits into shallow cabinet in a studio apartment small space kitchen cabinet - but "larger than" some other choices. Can fill the "shallow soup bowl" with casserole or other "heat" items (meat loaf, stuffed bell pepper) and when hot safely carry to my chair. I "played" with some of the other plates - have not used them yet - and the combinations are very attractive (plate as a charger plate beneath another plate) - could even use under a potted plant inside or as a place to have art glass or sculpture within... Now I have used these for awhile - and they are just better and better - I had no idea how "well thought out and engineered" they are - for a "home cook chef" beginner to "I have to do my own dishes there is no 'sous chef or dishwasher' person: The wave in the side allows you to (unlike my beautiful flower shaped plates which I still love and use) - place them closer to the gravy saute pan and spoon that over without drips on the stove top that otherwise I would have to clean up after my meal ( gravy drips are - on the plate to be tasty there). And - the wide corners are visually interesting - can orient them to be a sort of diamond wavy or a sort of wavy square - so food presentation is going to be more fun (I have my garden planted so I will have curly parsley and nasturtiums and mints) in a couple of months.

These look formal. I use them every day though. If they rub against something, they get a light silverish stain, giving them a lightly infomal look.

I returned the set because I wanted bright white and the color is more a creamy white. On some of the pieces I unpacked the bottoms are rough rather than honed smooth and I feared would scratch my glass table.

We have had this set awhile, it is very contemporary, uniquely stylish and has conversational pieces. We enjoy theses pieces on a daily basis. It's very durable cleans easily, goes in the microwave and dishwasher. We don't have a chip, scratch nor has a piece broken and it is still as shiny as the day we received it. The plates are a little awkward in the microwave so what, we love the wave design and I would like to add additional pieces to our set because I like it so well and it fits our kitchen.

Waited years for this set worth the wait.
