I recently purchased the Spode Challah board with a removable wood cutting board. and it has elevated our Shabbat table. The removable wood cutting board is a total game-changer. It fits perfectly into the tray, allowing me to slice the challah without worrying about scratching the beautiful porcelain dish underneath. The platter is dishwasher safe, but I hand wash it anyway along with the wood insert which holds up to the serrated knife I use. This would make a great wedding or housewarming gift too! Items is not as advertised. It's now a dark wood. I purchased this item a month ago. When I got it I called customer service and they said they would exchange it I returned it and then received a notice that it was just a different lot of the same wood and they would refund my money but could not exchange it. 20 days and no refund and the price more than doubled! Out of luck!!

Perfect. Exactly as pictured and keeps most of the bread crumbs contained rather than all of the table!

It's beautiful. I bought this for my daughter to give to her during Hanukkah. She makes a beautiful challah bread.
