Bought to compliment my Lenox Classic White dinnerware bought from another online source. If also coordinates perfectly with an inexpensive Chinese bone china teapot I found at another online source. The best news about the Chirp collection is that it was (is?) made in America. That means that it has the Lenox secret formula that prevents bone china from crazing when heated in a dishwasher. Yep, that is 100% American technology that nobody else has. Someone said that Lenox was closing their North Carolina factory. I hope President Trump can convince Lenox to bring it back. It is a unique process that makes bone china that is not only durable, but easy to take care of. I have washed my Classic White Lenox bone china in my dishwasher since the day it was new. It comes out clean, and the glaze is as perfect as the day the dishes were delivered. Same thing with my Chirp Serving Bowl and Platter. Microwave and dishwasher-safe bone china. Let's hear it for American technology.

My husband and I have had this pattern for several years now. Prior to buying it, we would look at it while out shopping, and after 2 years, decided that we did indeed love it, and could live with it. We have not been disappointed. I’ve had to call Lenox a couple of times regarding replacements, and they were very easy to work with.
