I bought this b/c I'm an avid tea drinker and would like to start a tea set with unique pieces. This is a very cute and elegant plate, would be perfect with a basic white tea cup. I'm a big fan of owls so this was perfect for me. Pros: high quality material, great design, perfect size

heavier and thicker then i thought. best thing i ever expected.i thought it might be thin and fragile.

These are great -- I would love to replace all of my dinnerware with iittala Taika but decided to start with a set of espresso cups and saucers. I love them! They make my morning espresso that much more enjoyable. The pattern is so interesting and pretty, especially the blue.

This china pattern is so different and lovely.

I had purchased the espresso cups earlier but the saucer make the complete set truly european.

Very high quality product, as expected as I have the mugs also. Great design. High quality glaze. Appears to be very robust. I would recommend this.
