I'm glad I read the dimensions and knew what to expect when purchasing this, because it is VERY small (3 inches wide) and I bought it with the purpose of holding loose coins or earrings. I love iittala and the Kastehelmi collection, but make sure you are not looking for a large serving bowl if you are buying this. I just got clear glass but the color options are very pretty and the texture on the outside makes this unique.
