I thought the plates would feel more like a stone clay, when really, they feel more like they just have a coating that emulates that “clay” feeling. I was hoping the plates would feel rougher. And the inside portion of the plates have a faded, grayish look, like they look used already :/

So far I think we will like them just fine. The colors are true to the pictures. I ordered the beige and the brown. But the brown is identical to what you see in the picture, which I would describe as terracotta. I look forward to seeing how they hold up, hoping they stand by their word and not chip.
