The butter dish doesn't fit a stick of butter, so unable to use.

I love this butter dish. Its compact size fits anywhere. I know it doesn't fit a complete pound but I slice the butter into square pads and it works just fine. Brushed stainless is nice too. Easy clean modern look. Glad I bought the larger one tho.

Attractive - love the look. The larger size fits a Irish butter stick. The dish it totally flat - a little lip would help the butter to stay in place better. When it's cold it stays in place, but if you put out onbtable to offer room temp for serving, the butter slides. It's still attractive and works fine when cold, so will keep.

Looks great and perfect size for the large butter

Well made but may in fact be the worlds smallest butter dish. Not only does it not hold a pound of butter (Canadian), but it doesn't even hold the 1/4 sticks that you can buy. I don't have a real desire to have to cut my butter to fit in a butter dish. I have no idea where the designer came up with the specs for size. How bizarre.
