I purchased the salad serving pieces as well, and it was a lovely gift. Be aware, however, that because of the bowl and utensil shapes, they will not fit into the typical engraving machine. Having them engraved would have to be done by hand which is extremely expensive. Had I known that before I purchased the bowl, I think I would have chosen a tray or flatter item. Pros: Beautiful finish, looks like real silver, without the tarnishing issue. Cons: Can not be engraved
