Fern studied drawing and painting at CSU Long Beach where she trained under influential professors, but most of her experience comes from her personal practice. She works in all mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache, but also likes to experiment with textiles and fiber arts. Fern finds opportunities to explore and experiment with colors and shapes, drawing inspiration from daily life and the things around her: “Art is a means to preserve and find meaning in life.”

Austin Beiv grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn, where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging—or, as we say in Italian, "graffito." Austin was influenced by many different artists, particularly Fernando Carlo, who was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence from Austin’s childhood is where the edge and contemporary look of his art pieces originates. After graduating from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s, Austin now travels all over America to look for inspiration, whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. He loves to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.
