Based in Los Angeles, California, artist Danielle Davis turned her closet into an art gallery by 3rd grade. Danielle is a self-taught artist with an eye for art and design that later grew into an obsession. In this Chinese fine brush painting, early winter sets in at dusk. Over a misty river, the sun seems to hide behind a curtain, creating a dreamy feel. A teal kingfisher sits on a reed, its bright colors popping against the scene. Snowflakes lightly touch the reeds, adding a hint of winter chill. The river is calm, and the bird seems lost in thought, looking at the setting sun. The painting has a calm vibe, and the detailed feathers of the kingfisher show the artist's skill. It feels like you're right there, experiencing the moment.

It’s beautiful. It took forever to arrive and the frame was a bit dinged up. Surprising for something so pricey. I didn’t want to return and have to wait months again so I used a sharpie to disguise the affected areas. Unless you’re nose with it, one cannot tell.
