We love the whimsy of the square lucite zebra tray. The Scalamandre zebra pattern in the color is your fun serving tray and/or gift for the adventurer in us all. Use the tray on the ottoman, bath, or kitchen for a pop of color! A little background history: Originally designed in the 1940s for the Gino of Capri restaurant, lovingly known as "Ginos" by New Yorkers, Scalamandre restored the Zebras wallcovering in the upper east side institution in the 1970s after it was destroyed in a fire. Flora Scalamandre, wife of Franco, free-handed the signature motif that would come to be known as the iconic Scalamandre zebras. The pattern is celebrated the world over in design and in the movies. It was featured in the "Royal Tannebaums" and "Mighty Aphrodite." The pattern design has grown in color offerings and mediums.

Great family room ottoman tray. Crafted of moulded resin to look like a bonded fabric finish, it is far more practical in an area where it gets heavier use. Really can’t tell it’s resin with a textured black paint unless u look very, very closely—especially because it’s enhanced by the genuine ropework on the handles. Solidly constructed. Purchased the square tray in black. It looks elegant & upscale & was the perfect finishing touch.
