Honestly, these are beautiful, but not sure they are worth the price paid. It is unclear how these are made…I reached out to ask if they are silk screened, but the answer simply stated undetermined. If these are not hand painted or silk screened, they really aren’t worth the investment. They look pretty in the room though…. Catherine. Flemington, NJ. 2022-11-20 21:10:06
Artist Jean Kenna was born in Seoul, Korea. She studied illustration at the Art Center College of Design where she developed her fundamental drawing and painting skills, as well as getting basic knowledge of technical programs. For Jean, art means lots of things. She thinks art is her language and a privilege given to her to express. It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspiration in small things that make her excited. For example, movies, a lazy day on a beach, and the silence of a rainy day. Although she mostly works on digital media, Jean loves to draw with a pen and markers. She especially likes to draw cityscapes that involve perspective and stories of city life. During the weekends, Jean often goes outside into the city, studies people and buildings around her, and brings them to life in her sketchbook. Jean believes the purpose of an artist’s work is in bringing excitement and happiness into people’s minds. ‘I love to create art that makes your heart warm’.
