British artist JP Kilkenny employs a multitude of mediums in order to achieve his final image. He works between figurative and abstract using a variety of layering techniques from collage, transfers from his own photos to endless over-painting. Having traveled extensively since childhood, JP pulls a lot of imagery and inspiration from the memorabilia and sketchbooks he has collected along his journey.

Since 1994, Barclay Butera has been the creative force behind his eponymous design firm and showroom in Newport Beach, California. His success in Newport prompted Butera to establish showrooms in Hollywood, California, and Park City, Utah. Butera is renowned for his approachable elegance and glamorous, West-Coastchic interiors. Barclay Butera’s inspirations are drawn from a diverse variety of grand architecture from coast to coast, European and Far Eastern influences including everything from the high-fashion runways to his far-flung world travels. But, he readily credits old Hollywood and West Palm Beach as among his greatest muses.
Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil which she describes as “back to basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.
Elena Carlie was born in Romania; a country known for its rich cultural heritage and great natural beauty. At the age of 22, she moved to the United States where she expanded her horizons and grew as an artist. She has studied Fine arts since she was a child and currently holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of NH. “Art defines our humanity, freedom, and individuality. It is a way to articulate abstract thought and separates us from other life forms. Art is incredibly therapeutic for me, and foremost a strong passion. It’s not something I think about, but rather, something I feel.” Carlie finds inspiration everywhere. She strives to discover new ways of interpretation and sees this as a formula to remain fresh. It is a way of having fun while doing something that she loves. “To me, anything that can be manipulated can become an art medium.” “I love to work with watercolor paint, oil paint, acrylic paint, pencil, pen, and ink. However, the digital tools available today are pushing the limits of creativity and I find myself very involved with it.”

This piece is beautiful and I would have given it higher ratings, but some of the material came loose and it is now sitting at the bottom of the shadow box. It would be difficult to take it apart to clean it out. They should made sure the material was securely fastened before closing the picture box. It was well packed. Otherwise, it sparkles when it catches the light and it is true to the pictures on the website.. Anonymous. . 2023-08-07 14:57:27
