The artist, D’Alessandro Leon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900’s. During D’Alessandro’s studies he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

The artist, David Brown, studied and received his fine arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in drawing and painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by Renaissance, Baroque, and a lot of today’s contemporary work. David’s work is predominately focused on the human figure. "People are my inspiration. I love learning people’s stories and try to capture the sitter’s narrative through my drawings/paintings. I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model". His art is his one true passion and he believes that, "artists are super sensitive and emotional human beings, our work is a physical representation of our thoughts and emotions, a diary that we choose to share with the world".

Alexys Henry grew up in both Phoenix and New York, influenced by dramatic shifts in both cultural and physical environments. As a child, the long clear expanses of snow-covered fields broken by patches of overgrown trees and half-frozen streams captivated her and continue to influence her imagery. Henry moved to Berkeley, California in 2002. “There I found myself drawn to everyday details such as cracks in walls and layers of peeling paint and poster paper. Nature flourishes alongside urban decay. For me, this is the backdrop of a duplicitous sense of danger as well as hope and community”. From there, Henry’s brief time in Seattle deeply influenced her seascapes. Kept it but the bison on the actual painting are a lot darker and less contrasted than shown. Looks like a giant black blob on white canvas unless you look closely.
