I love the piece however the one I received does not have any blue tones in it. The glitter is amazing.. Erica. Clarkston, MI. 2021-01-10 20:43:40

Sandi Neiman Lovitz
Sandi Neiman Lovitz applies acrylic paint to a canvas or panel with brushes, combs, wedges, water, or her hands. She puts on and digs out the paint. She demands spontaneity in gesture and enjoys watching paint move after applying it with the swipe of a brush, the push and pull of a rubber wedge, the spray from a can, or the splatter and splash from a vessel. The paint takes on its own energy and partners with Sandi’s understanding of composition, balance, space, and rhythm. From the artist “When I paint I feel like Alice in Wonderland down the rabbit hole, but I am hosting the party. I invite all of the glorious shapes, phantasmal colors, and rhythmic marks to create harmony, hope, freedom, and power”.
Elena Carlie was born in Romania; a country known for its rich cultural heritage and great natural beauty. At the age of 22, she moved to the United States where she expanded her horizons and grew as an artist. She has studied Fine arts since she was a child and currently holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of NH. “Art defines our humanity, freedom, and individuality. It is a way to articulate abstract thought and separates us from other life forms. Art is incredibly therapeutic for me, and foremost a strong passion. It’s not something I think about, but rather, something I feel.” Carlie finds inspiration everywhere. She strives to discover new ways of interpretation and sees this as a formula to remain fresh. It is a way of having fun while doing something that she loves. “To me, anything that can be manipulated can become an art medium.” “I love to work with watercolor paint, oil paint, acrylic paint, pencil, pen, and ink. However, the digital tools available today are pushing the limits of creativity and I find myself very involved with it.”
