This is a beautifully crafted dough bowl. However, it came with a very dark brown/black wax finish that smelled of chemicals. After many soap and water washings to remove the waxy finish, the dough bowl still emits the strong chemical smell. I would not recommend this product based on health safety.

Darker in person than in real life - I was hoping it would be more of a neutral wood and not a dark dark wood but it is very dark so if you like that - BUY this. It’s stunning - just darker than I thought it would be and that’s probably my fault / not the photos fault. :) SUPER good quality - will be returning & getting a more natural wood tray instead!
