This is polyester. Polyester covers a wide range of fabrics. HOWEVER, this is so sheer as to be unusable for anything other than window sheer curtains. Even doubled you can see your hand right thru it. Really doesn't look like the fabric in the image. So disappointed and it's not returnable so I'm stuck with it.
