The Hindu deity Ganesha sits with a tiny mouse on his foot. Thatsanee and Ramphan depict the young lord with the head of an elephant, son of Shiva and Parvati. Working in pale green celadon ceramic, they create a beautifully detailed image. Ganesha is invoked for any auspicious project. In Thailand, he is considered the angel of success where a prayer whispered in the mouse's ear will be brought to Ganesha for blessings.
