The softness and gentleness of the expression, and texture of the wood. I bought 4 different masks to arrange over my king size bed because the painting in the center of the wall wasn't large enough for the space. I had hoped the color of the wood was a bit lighter so that it would contrast more again the wall color, but they look great in any case.
