The attractive <i>Akoma</i> mask is an original design by Ghanaian artisan Robert Nortey. Meaning 'heart' in the Twi dialect of the Akan people, the mask is adorned with embossed aluminum and brass on the forehead. Nortey carves the sese wood mask by hand featuring an ornate red and black headgear.
