Artist Commentary: "Phoenix Rising" symbolizes rebirth, growth and second chances. As the sun sets each day, we are given the opportunity to start over with a new day each day. Although a new day is never promised, "Phoenix Rising" serves to remind us that we get to choose how we will seize the dawn and what actions we will take to make each day the best day possible. This painting's purpose is to spread hope and positivity for the new day ahead and to give the viewer comfort as the day ends and the new day unfolds.
