Born in Modesto, California, artist Ryan Brown's focus in college was studying business. Ryan took a few college art courses but is mostly self-taught. He finds pleasure in studying the work of artists he enjoys and creates his own work from that influence. Ryan believes that “Art is human creativity. It is meant to inspire and evoke emotion, just like music.” He finds inspiration through everyday life, seeing each moment as an opportunity for expression. Ryan enjoys working with a variety of mediums, but he prefers to work with oils and charcoal.
