Beautiful artwork! I am pleased with the art itself however, I am disappointed that one of the frames has a small dent in it. It’s too much trouble to box it up and return it. I was able to use a gold paint pen to disguise it and hopefully no one else will notice. It is disappointing to spend so much money on something for it not to be perfect on delivery. Image brush gel finish is a hand-applied gel finish using strokes that follow the line of the original image giving it a subtle texture. It involves applying thick coats of gel using a brush or knife to give 3d texture to the art even once dried.

This is a beautiful print that fits in perfectly with the decor in our sitting room. Very peaceful and serene. At the recommendation of Design Services, we ordered the 'glass coat' to create a more 'high end' look. Unfortunately, we get a lot of natural light in this area which creates a glare. Although born and raised in Los Angeles, Artist Van Garret has been heavily influenced by traveling abroad to a multitude of countries, especially Iceland. Music is a big part of his life and it sparked his creativity even before he began painting. In fact, Van did not begin painting until he was in college and he is self-taught. “Art was something that was always in my genes. It makes me happy. I believe that every artist leaves a piece of themselves in their artwork. The artist, D’Alessandro Leon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900’s. During D’Alessandro’s studies he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

I love the print! It was the colors that I needed and loved. It was a little pricey for the Quality or texture of it. It seems a little flat in texture but not bad.
