I purchased this pillow to use with the chaise that I bought. The pillow stays in place on the chaise. I would recommend purchasing the pillow if you purchase the chaise lounge.

The pillow is definitely a needed accessory to the SURF lounge. The backing is a little cheap looking (like inexpensive rug pad webbing) but it does keep it in place while still allowing you to move it and adjust. And it doesn't show so...Haven't had long enough to discuss durability.
