Regular vacuuming with an upholstery attachment removes dust and reduces the need for professional cleaning. Do not use a vacuum attachment with a rotary brush. Brushing may permanently damage the nap or change the appearance of the fabric. When cleaning spots, immediately soak up the stain with a soft absorbent cloth. The longer a stain is allowed to remain on the fabric, the more difficult it is to remove. Do not dry the stain completely or it may set. Do not use excessive water or liquid solutions on fabric. Excessive wetting and saturation may result in permanent damage to the material. To remove water-based or oil-based stains, use a dry cleaning solution that is made exclusively for dry-clean-only fabric materials. Test the cleaning solution on a small, inconspicuous area first. If there is no damage to the fabric or its dyes, gently apply the cleaner to the soiled area with a damp clean cloth or sponge. Do not rub vigorously, instead make light, quick strokes. Start on the outside of the stain and work towards the middle, being careful not to oversaturate the fabric. Several light applications are better than one heavy application. Rinse the area thoroughly with a clean, damp cloth (avoiding heavy scrubbing) to remove any cleaning solution residue. Let the fabric dry completely. If the stain does not go away, please contact a professional cleaner.
