Artists both grew up with an appreciation of wildlife and being in the outdoors. From an early age, their respective families took them outside, in search of wildlife and beautiful vistas. They became nature enthusiasts and animal lovers when young and their passion for photography grew from their love of the great outdoors. They learned early that patience, persistence, and sometimes just really good luck can set you up to see something magnificent.
