Artist Emma Brooks was born in Brooklyn, New York, to a liberal family that encouraged her artistic abilities from a young age. Growing up amidst a vibrant urban landscape, Emma became inspired by the various cultures and lifestyles she encountered. With a broad interest in design and modern art, she was accepted to the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. During her studies, she was able to admire a slower pace than the hustle and bustle of New York. Brooks drew inspiration from her professors and a lifelong interest in aesthetics and unique beauty. Emma currently resides in downtown Los Angeles with her dog, Jackson; she enjoys the creative expression the city has to offer and is always seeking new artistic awakenings to portray in her artwork.
