Outstanding Buy. The packaging was fabulous. Putting the console table was easy. The directions were easy to follow. Having said that, the stickers that designate how to assemble the table are a little too sticky. I had to use my fingernail to scrape off the excess glue. The piece needs to be oiled. I received this bench on June 3, 2023. My husband and I worked together to construct it. I was very disappointed to find in the instructions that it is to be constructed with small dowel pegs. No screws are included. The instructions tell u that if a dowel breaks off while u are using a rubber mallet to hammer it in then u need to use a 1/8 drill bit to drill that one out and insert another one. I would have rather the manufacturer design this bench with screws as part of the construction which would have provided more strength and stability. However, we decided to give it a try and we began to construct it. Several dowels broke and I had to do as the instructions noted. It seems to be fairly tight together at this point but I will be monitoring it as time goes by. I applied a coat of Teak Oil to it and it brings out the beautiful grains and color. The chairs are great! Nice and wide seat…sturdy…and (hopefully) authentic, pure teak that will sustain weather. Time will tell. My lower rating is regarding the delivery. Looks great, very heavy and sturdy, fairly easy to assemble but don’t use gorilla glue, as suggested, to enhance the frame. ( it leaked out all over the place from the joints).
