I received this bench on June 3, 2023. My husband and I worked together to construct it. I was very disappointed to find in the instructions that it is to be constructed with small dowel pegs. No screws are included. The instructions tell u that if a dowel breaks off while u are using a rubber mallet to hammer it in then u need to use a 1/8 drill bit to drill that one out and insert another one. I would have rather the manufacturer design this bench with screws as part of the construction which would have provided more strength and stability. However, we decided to give it a try and we began to construct it. Several dowels broke and I had to do as the instructions noted. It seems to be fairly tight together at this point but I will be monitoring it as time goes by. I applied a coat of Teak Oil to it and it brings out the beautiful grains and color. It will take a few days to dry and be ready for use but it is worth the time. I love the design and style of this bench.

Easy to put together! Only 4 pieces. And it looks just as beautiful as it does online.

Ordered 2 :- First one was Great ! Second one broken and now going through complicated process of assessing whether to repair and get a “Discount to Keep” or just get a refund... Looks like they are sold out, so not sure whether to exchange for something similar or just be satisfied with one Helpful customer support, just not a quick solution

This small bench sits in an alcove in our entry. It fits perfectly and is quite comfortable. The only downside has been that is was not as sturdy as we would have liked. With some handyman help from my husband, he was able to tighten it up so that it now is quite sturdy, and we do enjoy having it as a place to leave packages, as well as a convenient place to sit now and then.
