Initially we loved this coverlet. It seemed to be the perfect weight, and it already had the worn-in feel to it. Unfortunately, that is it's downfall too. It ripped in 3 places in my front loading washing machine. I am very careful, and my washing machine has never ripped anything. The fabric is so thin that this is unusable now. I am so disappointed. The quilt was very expensive and definitely a splurge. I do not recommend it.

There are clumps of stuffing fabric in the quilted squares that doesn't lie flat. And it hasn't even been washed yet!

While the price point is high, this is not unusual for Pom Pom at Home items. This coverlet is absolutely gorgeous and just what I was looking for for my son's room. It's soft and earthy feeling and washes beautifully. The navy is a nice shade of blue, not too dark but a true navy. Happy I invested in this piece, I'm confident it will last for years.
