These pillowcases are an off-white (the package says ecru) with a medium blue crocheted trim. Based on the images and the description, I thought these pillowcases were white. Nevertheless, they are very pretty and are made of a heavy percale cotton. This fabric is very much like the old percale sheets my grandmother had, which means that you may need or want to iron them, even after they've come out of the dryer. I bought these standard size pillowcases to go with a king size patterned sheet set that has a similar blue color and they work well for that purpose. The quality here is phenomenal. I will be looking for sheets sets by this manufacturer.

So cute with little orange embroidered edge. Trying to copy a picture of bedding set design I saw and this is going to do the trick.
