Beautiful doors with great bearings that make them glide effortlessly. However, our shower pan horizontal ledge turns in toward the shower at the showerhead wall, causing the water sheeting down the door to splash on the ledge and get on the floor outside of the shower. This door was exactly what I was looking for to finish my remodeled bathroom. It took a while for it to arrive but can intact with all parts needed. Installation was straight forward and instructions easy to follow. I did not like the way the wall trim was to be installed on the slider side of the door. It looked like a fix that was added to the product and called for it to be installed outside of the header and sill. That left a gap of almost an inch between the door and this trim. I cut it to fit in between the sill and header and it now looks like it was supposed to be there. Check pictures to see. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and construction.. Shower. We decided on this particular sliding bath door for our children’s bathroom. As much as I would have liked to convert the tub to a shower stall purely based on aesthetics to achieve a more open and spacious room, it just didn’t make sense with young kids and daily bathing. However, this Elate model is literally the next best thing as it will transition with them as they get used to showering, and still makes the room feel larger. It’s streamlined design, modern hardware, and expansive glass panels are not only beautifully presented - the Kohler quality is clearly evident. Love the extra thick Crystal Clear glass doors with CleanCoat tech that look cleaner longer and is easier to maintain! So happy to have the Matte Black version that coordinates perfectly with all our other shower and sink fixtures also in the same finish.
