The doors were phenomenal. It’s normal and sometimes you get a factory defect and there’s nothing you can do about it. I try to install it, but the client wasn’t happy because he did a lot of money, but it is what it is. This tub enclosure is beautiful, perfect in my black white bathroom. The door is very sturdy this and actually pretty easy to install, my husband and I were able to install it with no problems. The door glides smoothly, one side is a “fixed” door and does not move but you’re able to pick which side to make movable. Door was installed in an exact 44" opening. There is a gap between the doors when they are fully shut but no water escapes the shower. A thin plastic strip should be included to correct the gap but it really doesn't matter. The inner door was difficult to install and adjust. It kept slipping off the track on the bottom plate. I should probably ask my contractor to review this product, since I didn't have to install it myself. All I can say is that it looks great and opens and closes smoothly. If you're not experiencing this with yours, then maybe it was the installer's fault. One drawback is that it's not very tall. At 5'7", I can step into my shower without ducking. My sons (5'10") would have to duck, as does my 6'2" boyfriend. But maybe that's standard now? Whatever.
