This was the perfect tile for our backsplash with the grey upper cabinets and the green(sage) lower cabinets. It's like it was made for our kitchen. The only disappointment was that when I needed one more box I couldn't get the lower price (for not ordering a large quantity again). Always order more than you think! The real Crema Marfil is quarried near Alicante, Spain, and is technically a limestone. However, it is widely labeled as a Marble because it can be polished to a high shine. It has a subtle beige veined background and is an excellent material if you are looking for a gentle warm neutral color palette. Please beware of less expensive options on the market quarried often from Turkey, Indonesia, Egypt, or China as they have less desirable yellow, pink or red hues.

Love it! It looks so beautiful once installed. It does have A LOT of sparkle in it but it looked perfect once installed vertically. Still sparkly once installed but we think it looks very classy and high end even given the low price. Installed using quickset and used an angle grinder to make cuts. The first shipment had a bunch of broken pieces in the boxes but wayfair customer service was amazing and they got us replacement boxes. It seems like the problem was with the original delivery service removing the boxes from the pallets. Using this for a couple niches and also for a portion of my shower floor. There is a lot of variation and interest, these are also a really high quality tile. I’ve found them easy to cut- my only complaint is the backs are smooth and a little hard to get the thinset to adhere to. I’ve also sealed them since they’re going in a shower area. Michelle. Ivory travertine is a type of light color natural stone quarried in Turkey. It has low variation cream and beige tones that add warmth to you.
