Installation of a toilet and in-wall tank is like no other, and if you haven’t done one before, it takes some time to work through all the steps. Another thing to watch out for, is that if you are replacing an existing floor mounted toilet you will be moving the toilet drain line. That all said, this toilet looks great and works well. And if you have a small bathroom, the space it saves will make a larger impact than you might think.

By analyzing the "in wall" type of toilets, we can meet the 24 inch rule (which is required in most jurisdiction's building code). What is "in wall" ? where you place the water tank inside either 2X4 or 2X6 framing of the wall behind it. Thereby achieving the savings in space (and code compliance). Has the added benefit of wonderful aesthetics and "clean line" application with merely the bowl protrusion into your bathroom floor space. Pricey, yes. But well with it. Also, I've installed a dozen Toto toilets (varying models) in past several yeas - great/reliable. Greer Designs
