I thought the vanity would have more a wood grain look that you could see through the black paint/stain but it is actually VERY shiny black paint so there is no grain at all. It was also not a perfect paint job as I noticed spots where it was clumpy in the edging in more than a couple areas. The drawers seem harder than normal to open and the edging where the drawer fronts come together seem cheap. They should have made a more solid piece that went over the fronts so you didn't see the edges so defined since those too aren't perfectly spaced. For 3000.00 I'm not impressed. If I could return it I would but now our plumbing is based on it's specific dimensions. Lastly ... I went through Perigold due to the "special" they were having that you got a 500.00 credit for spending over 2K. Come to find out you have to spend 1200.00 (on NOT sale items) to use the credit. I'm sure it was in the fine print but come on! That just seems ridiculous to me. I'm just plain disappointed. :(
