Replaces the original that broke. Excellent quality and works great.

The third time I've purchased this shower head. That being said, two times the base of the head had snapped off from the shower hose base due to regular wear and tear and being made of plastic. This time, the water pressure is very weak.

This is a fantastic product. It has great pressure and a variety of spray options and is efficient.
