While it is very pretty and solidly made I wish it had an actual hook instead of just a ball at the end. I know the ball will hold a robe or a towel fine. We are using it on the wall next to the shower so when you go in, you can hang your robe but if it had a slight up turn on the ball the robe would stay on better. It could slip off this ball.
